March is the last reliable windy month for the main 'Winter season' destinations like South Africa, Cape Verde, and Gostoto in Brazil. As we move into Spring and early Summer (especially April and May), the options for wind are limited to Bonaire in the Caribbean, Morocco, Egypt, and South Fuerte.
By now, Easter is pretty booked up in most places, but if you have a healthy budget, we can still source great holidays. Just expect to pay more for booking at this late stage.
Looking ahead to the summer holidays and October Half-Term 2026, it is important to book your holiday if you want the best locations. Looking further ahead to Christmas time, we now have all the fares out, so it is important to grab them before prices start to escalate.
Big destinations for 2026 include Brazil (combined with The Amazon, Rio and/or The Pantanal), Mauritius (combined with a South Africa safari), and Madagascar (combined with private guided tours to the incredible nature parks)
