Oasis212 stands out for one simple reason: variety. With multiple spots gathered in one exceptional location, riders can choose between perfectly flat water or choppier conditions, shallow areas or very deep water, all paired with reliable winds averaging around 20 knots. It’s this diversity that makes Oasis212 one of the very best windsport destinations in Dakhla.
At ION CLUB Oasis212, the lagoon opens wide directly in front of the centre, stretching out towards the city of Dakhla. With the desert at your back and the ocean close by, a sense of space and freedom sets in immediately. The spot works almost year-round and offers a stress-free riding environment—no crowds, no pressure, just time to learn, progress or cruise on long, uninterrupted tacks. The wind blows side to side-onshore, averaging around 27 km/h over the year, creating ideal conditions for both kitesurfing and wingfoiling, from complete beginners to advanced riders.
Wingfoiling can be practiced at all times, regardless of the tide. The lagoon offers excellent conditions throughout the day.
- Low tide: the water is flatter, making it ideal for beginners and progression sessions.
- High tide: the water becomes slightly choppier, but still very suitable for wingfoiling.
In terms of depth, the lagoon gradually gets deeper the further you go from shore, so riders can always find enough depth for safe foiling without needing to go excessively far out.
Unlike some spots, there is no need to monitor tidal coefficients to plan sessions wingfoiling is possible all day long.
True to the ION CLUB philosophy, guests can expect professional coaching, seamless organisation, the latest equipment, convenient storage facilities and, above all, a personal and welcoming atmosphere with the on-site team.
The name Oasis212 is deeply symbolic. Inspired by Morocco’s international dialing code, it reflects the project’s strong local roots and its commitment to showcasing Dakhla while preserving its unique identity. Designed around an eco-responsible concept, Oasis212 respects and protects its extraordinary natural setting—where desert, lagoon and ocean come together in perfect harmony.
