The Kitesurf / Wing Foiling centre is directly on the beach next to the accommodation, this is a really ‘fall out of bed onto the water’ location. The centre stocks a good range of kites and boards if you want to rent from here; this is a strong wind destination so best kite sizes as a rule are 8 – 12 m… but as with any location there can be light wind periods.

There is a huge flat water section directly from the beach so the teaching conditions are just perfect; beginners & improvers will progress here faster than at just about any other location! The school follows the IKO course structure and of course, as with all our centres, follows the strictest safety procedures.

Kitesurfing - Kitesurf lessons are mainly taught in English and French. Our instructors can also teach lessons in German, Spanish, Polish and Arabic. With their experience and specific teaching plans, they make the kitesurfing learning process very easy, providing an intensive teaching that always leads to success. It does not matter if customers just want to discover the sport, are complete beginners, in need to refresh their knowledge or wish to get to the next level with their kiting. They will give you the best advice and help!

Dakhla Attitude's watersports centre works with the latest North kiteboarding equipment. All of our accessories (wetsuits, helmets, life vests, harnesses) are from the catalogue and all the items are checked and registered on a daily basis.

They use the latest technology available to provide the best possible experience. Kids (under 15) and people with specific needs must book private lessons. For kids, parents must sign a responsibility statement allowing the centre to teach them and they have to find themselves inside the Dakhla Attitude premises and be available whilst their kids are training.

Wingfoiling - Learning to Wing Foil is sometimes considered to be hard and challenging. But with the right equipment and professional coaching by the experienced team you will be able to make a safe and fast entry into Wing Foiling. Wing Foil lessons are available to everyone, but if you have never used a foil in any other discipline they will take it step by step to guarantee your safety.

Tailored Wing Foil lessons with one of the high skilled instructors, who will teach you any level and any subject by following you during the whole lesson: the most exclusive way to guarantee fast and safe progression. Either you decide to use your own equipment or learn new tricks on the latest NORTH gear.

This service will allow you to store your kitesurf equipment at the centre, and often also includes free rescue service assuming you are riding upwind level or above.

Note:

Rescue service is normally limited to 1 rescue per day assuming you are an independent kiter, able to ride up wind. Local charges may apply for extra rescues.

For Storage and rescue services, you may be required to produce a VDWS/IKO/RYA or equivalent licence to prove your ability (For Egypt this is mandatory, and if unable to provide you will need to do a skills test and pay for a licence locally)

Semi-Private lessons are a maximum of 2 students per instructor, meaning fast progression. The lessons include all equipment and are designed to take you from total beginner to up and riding. We normally suggest at least 10 hours to get the up on the board doing short runs. Lessons are normally in 2 - 3-hour sessions, but dependent on local conditions.

Note:

We will schedule your course to start on your first full day, but you must remain available to the school to work around local wind and sea conditions, as well as instructor availability.

Kitesurfing Lessons with a personal instructor gives you the opportunity to have a 1-on-1 interaction with your instructor to help you learn at a pace that is driven by you. The Learn To Kitesurf course aims to get you riding, while also teaching you how to read the conditions and utilise your equipment safely and correctly.

You will start with the basics; this includes setup of your equipment, safety features that you will utilise and how to fly a small 2metre trainer kite. When your instructor feels you are ready you can then head to the water. On day one you will only be using the kite and not go on the board just yet. Entering the water is when the fun starts! Here you will be taught how to properly fly an inflatable kitesurfing kite, how to control your kite and what to do if you crash it in the water. On day one you will be comfortable flying the kite and know what to do in any situation.

You will then move on to the board lessons. What does that mean? Well it is time to get up on the board now. You will practice using the kite to generate pull and you will learn how to get the kite to pull you without the board first. The idea is to get used to how the kite behaves when asked to pull you. Once confident doing this you will learn how to put the board on your feet and after that, how to get up on the board. Most people will manage to do a few metres on the board by the end of the course.

Note:

You don’t need to be super-fit to kitesurf and the kit is lightweight, so you don’t need lots of muscle strength either. But of course, a decent level of fitness will help you to progress faster. Your instructor will be there to support you, coach you, and more importantly, keep you safe through the learning process.

Daily kitesurf unlimited rental, with choice of boards and kites, bar included. The range of equipment will vary from each different kitesurf school, so sometimes the exact kite size may not be available. Kitesurf rental packages are great if you want to experiment with different types of equipment before you decide to invest in your own, or if you just don't want toe hassle of taking your own equipment.

The quality of kitesurf rental equipment will vary from each different sport centre. Take a look at the sport centre details for more information on this. if you are not sure then you can always call us. We only work with the best kitesurf centres in each resort and do our best to visit every centre we offer.

Note:

You must be able to demonstrate safe setup and use of the equipment, and be able to ride upwind (most of the time). If the centre feels that you are not yet ready to kite independently they may swap out some of the rental value for instruction.
