Boavista is a superb flat water windsurf and wing foiling spot in a relaxed, uncommercial setting. Our partner windsurf centre and wing foiling school is a 15-minute walk into the local town and a short stroll to several small accommodations. The school is next to a beach club, a great place to grab food or refreshments between sessions.

The centre stocks an impressive stock of Goya Windsurfing and KT (full carbon) wing foiling boards, Duotone premium wings (D/LAB), and Goya sails. Please be sure to book any rental or lesson when booking your holiday to ensure availability.

The wind here blows cross offshore over the wide, stunning sandy beach, making for super flat water conditions. The sandy sea bed gently shelves off for super easy entry. There is safety cover for free riders, and lessons are carried out from the boat. This is a great place to learn to wingfoil, or for a learn-to-windsurf holiday.

IMPORTANT - The centre offers instruction by boat and Bb Talkin Bluetooth system.

Group lessons are great value for money and lots of fun, but if you are looking for rapid progression, we recommend upgrading to private or semi-private lessons (see other courses, or please call us for advice).

Group kitesurf lessons are normally upto a maximum of 4 students per instructor.  The two students normally share a kite. Lessons are normally taken in 2 to 3 hour sessions, but depend on the local wind and sea conditions. Some centres will shorten the hours if they have less students as they will be able to cover the same course structure in a shorter time. Lessons are dependent on local conditions.

Note:

It is generally known that in group lessons clients will share equipment and that hours may be reduced if less than 4 people on the course. If the school is not able to provide you with all, or part of the course, due to low wind (or adverse weather), please ensure you get written confirmation from them so we may credit you according to the terms & conditions of the kitesurf school. The general rule is that if the school is unable to provide you with the lessons, they will offer you an alternative service or a credit, or a refund.

In some locations it is necessary, or just more practical, to teach from a boat. This is often with a radio helmet to make instructor-to-student communication that much easier. The advantage of boat teaching is the huge space to practice, the added safety that brings, and it makes it much easier for the instructor to follow the student whilst giving constant instruction and support. 

This package is perfect for students who want to practice getting up on the board, master riding upwind, make their first transitions, as well as those first jumps or practice new tricks in a safe and relaxing environment.

Kitesurfing Lessons with a personal instructor gives you the opportunity to have a 2-on-1 interaction with your instructor to help you learn at a pace that is driven by you. The Learn To Kitesurf course aims to get you riding, while also teaching you how to read the conditions and utilise your equipment safely and correctly.


You will start with the basics; this includes setup of your equipment, safety features that you will utilise and how to fly a small 2metre trainer kite. When your instructor feels you are ready you can then head to the water. On day one you will only be using the kite and not go on the board just yet. Entering the water is when the fun starts! Here you will be taught how to properly fly an inflatable kitesurfing kite, how to control your kite and what to do if you crash it in the water. On day one you will be comfortable flying the kite and know what to do in any situation.

Note:

Semi-private lessons are offered with a maximum of two people and ensure fast progression. Your course includes Kite, board, Harness, wetsuit, life jacket and insurance.

For Storage and rescue services, you may be required to produce a VDWS/IKO/RYA or equivalent licence to prove your ability to rent (For Egypt this is mandatory, and if unable to provide you will need to do a skills test and pay for a licence locally)

For safety reasons all our courses are given with the schools rental material. They don‘t take any responsibility for private material nor change the prices when using private material. *The number of participants per course and instructor is max. 4 people. The duration of a course-day is 3 hours. With fewer students the duration of the course will be reduced accordingly. It is possible to book up to two lessons per day. In the group courses, the two students always share one equipment.
