Lassarga Camp Overview

This stunning eco surf lodge styled camp is uniquely located at the end of Dakhla peninsula, where the lagoon meets the Atlantic, giving access to both flat water and waves from the same spot. There is no where else in Dakhla where you can surf, kitesurf, windsurf, foil and wingfoil all at the same place! If you want to be kept busy on the water, this is the best place to be.

The waves at Lassarga are phenomenal (best wave season is October to April), rolling nicely to the right from a point break offering over 400m long surf rides along a 1km white sand beach. The spot is fantastic for all types of wave riders, as wind is predominantly cross offshore at this spot, the perfect direction for clean waves and flat deep water. The cross offshore wind allows you to ride parallel to the beach on a super smooth (speed spot) over 1 km. You can ride this spot, almost alone sometimes.

For beginner kitesurfers (and improver not staying upwind yet), the superb on-site kitesurf school will take you by car 5 minutes inside the lagoon, to an uncrowded shallow flat water spot - this is perfect for boosting your confidence in the easier conditions, and for fast progression during your learn to kitesurf course in Dakhla.

For windsurfers you can use the spot directly in front of the accommodation where the cross offshore wind normally creates nice flat water spot, perfect fro improvers (ideal waterstart and above due toe the deep water)

The accommodation includes 20 stilted bungalow, including private bungalows, 2 bedroom bungalows (perfect for families) or 4 person shared bungalow (good for single travellers on a budget). Each bungalow features a private bathroom with dry toilet, Italian shower and double sink. The rooms also offer an outside lounge, protected from wind, overlooking the beach and the waves, with a 160 degree view.

Restaurant And Bar

Full board is included in your stay. It starts with dinner on the first evening and ends with the lunch of the last day of your stay. The chef offers a varied buffet each day, combining international and Moroccan cuisine. Menus combining varieties of cooked or raw vegetable salads, tagines of meat or fish, barbecue, as well as desserts and homemade pastries. The Lassarga bar is the perfect place to enjoy juices, beers, cocktails and wine.
