Pousada Rancho Do Peixe General Impression

Pousada Rancho do Peixe is a stunning property in terms of its tranquil location and rustic charm. If you are looking for an 'out of the way' charming well run accommodation to kitesurf, relax and enjoy excellent food, this is the place. On our visit to the area, we were impressed with how the property has been improved. The rooms are very spacious in a beautiful rustic way. 

The huge kitesurf school is located right on site of the hotel, directly on the kitesurf beach. Just a short stroll will take you into Prea village with a hand full of small very charming restaurants. For more excitement, Jeri is 20 minutes away by beach buggy where you will find lots of small bars, restaurants and a very lively atmosphere.

Accommodation

Rancho is the place for you to truly feel in touch with nature, with accommodations with references to the simple architecture of the villas of the region, with all the comfort you can imagine! The bungalows are large and open, so you’re able to feel the local winds. There are 26 bungalows built on stilted decks, covered with carnauba straw and surrounded by coconut palms and dunes. All with king-size beds, cotton sheets, mini-fridge and WiFi. In order to disconnect you from the world, cable TV is only found in the lounge. All accommodations have a coffee machine, so you can enjoy a cup any time you want!

The 20 Beach Bungalows are located directly on the beach with a fantastic sea view. The spacious bungalows (80qm) have a king-size bed with mosquito net and two separate beds, veranda with hammock, fan, safe and minibar. Behind the beds is an open wardrobe and the bathroom. The washbasin is integrated in the room and behind it you find the separate shower and toilette.

The Coqueiral Bungalows have the same facilities and are located in the garden. In each Bungalow there can a maximum of 4 persons.

Pousada Rancho Do Peixe Facilities

The Bungalows are spread over a huge area. This accommodation is perfectly integrated in nature and a peaceful oasis and is a place of absolute calmness. The common spaces are integrated with the central area of ??the Pousada. Here you can find a swimming pool, with a 25 m² stretch for you to swim in, while enjoying the sunshine of Ceará. There are two lounges: the first is ideal for children, with cable TV, a pool table, and foosball. Here a delicious and refreshing afternoon tea is served every day. The second lounge, the Azeitoneira Lounge, is on the way to the beach and was built under the canopy of a huge old olive tree in the region. It’s an environment decorated with furniture made of local wood, hammocks for meditation, reading, and sleeping. 

The Spa has a view of the sea and an open architecture, so you can feel a delightful breeze while receiving a massage. The Pousada also offers pilates - a great option to keep fit or to realign the spine in place after a day of sports. Power pilates lessons are included in the daily rate.

In the whole area, you have free Wi-Fi and there is also laundry service and horse riding available. Beach towels are free of charge.

Restaurant And Bar

In the morning a rich breakfast with fresh fruits and a variety of eggs is served with a spectacular view of the beach and bay.

The restaurant offers also delicious lunch and dinner a la carte.

The beach bar welcomes you during the day. Here you can enjoy a drink or a light meal while enjoying the sun, the wind, and the warm waters of ??Ceará. At night the atmosphere changes a bit. Pizzas are offered and made in a brick oven, along with musical presentations, depending on the calendar of the pousada.
