Club De Mar, Icaraizinho

Club de Mar Condo Hotel is a new concept in Icaraizinho, providing a large, modern space specifically for kitesurfers, right in the best spot in the bay.  It is an excellent choice for guests who want to wake up by the beach, store their gear nearby, and enjoy the natural rhythm of the ocean without giving up modern comforts. It sits directly on the beach, giving guests immediate access to the flat-water lagoon and steady cross-shore winds that make Icaraizinho one of Brazil’s most consistent kite spots. 

The accommodation ranges from bright one-bedroom flats to large villas overlooking the sea. Each unit has its own character but follows a similar design ethos: modern, airy interiors with plenty of light, local wood finishes and panoramic views. The Flats de Mar, measuring around 77 square metres, include a double bedroom with twin or queen beds, a living area with sofa beds, a full kitchen, air conditioning, and a large balcony facing the sea. These are perfect for solo travellers or couples wanting self-contained comfort after long kite sessions.

The Two-Bedroom Houses are more spacious at around 163 square metres, featuring two en-suite bedrooms, a comfortable living room, and a fully equipped kitchen. They open onto terraces or gardens, offering privacy and room for up to six people. The Family Rooms, which come with either garden or sea views, are similar in layout but offer additional sofa beds for larger groups. They are well-suited to kitesurfing families or friends sharing accommodation while keeping their own space.

At the top end are the Villas with Sea View, measuring roughly 210 square metres. Each villa has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large open-plan living room, and a full kitchen. The highlight is the private terrace with its own pool overlooking the ocean. These villas cater to guests looking for the ultimate comfort with space to store and dry kite equipment right outside. The interiors are minimal and elegant, blending polished concrete, light wood and white walls, letting the sea view take centre stage

Every room includes high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, soundproofing, and kitchen facilities. The layout of each unit ensures there is plenty of room for storing boards and kites, while outdoor areas provide easy rinsing and drying options. The design is understated and natural, aligning with the barefoot luxury feel that appeals to experienced water-sports travellers.

Club de Mar’s main infinity pool faces the sea and acts as the social heart of the hotel. It is surrounded by tropical gardens and sun decks, where guests gather after a day on the water to watch the sunset with a drink in hand. The on-site restaurant and bar serve fresh local dishes, tropical juices and cocktails throughout the day. Breakfast is generous, featuring fresh fruit, regional pastries and strong Brazilian coffee — the perfect fuel before heading out for a kite session.

The hotel caters especially well to kitesurfers. It provides secure storage for kites and boards, easy beach access for launching, and rinsing areas for gear. The wind here is consistent and reliable from July through January, with warm water and wide sandy beaches ideal for both beginners and advanced riders. Many guests choose Club de Mar because they can be in the water within minutes of waking up, and return to a private apartment with space to relax, cook, and enjoy the ocean views.

For relaxation, massages and private yoga sessions can be arranged on site. The staff can also organise downwind trips, local buggy tours and sunset boat excursions. Daily housekeeping keeps the apartments clean and comfortable.
