Guests are offered a choice of accommodation from the historical architecture of the thatched roof seaside Manor House built in 1920, to the contemporary New Wing and Harbour Square. Rooms are luxuriously appointed with sophisticated modern décor, all within easy walking distance of the town’s top attractions, whale watching sites, markets, restaurants, street cafés and an abundance of reserved natural splendour


Manor House 

Manor House rooms offer modern, open plan rooms with millstone floors and romantic solid cast baths, walk-in showers, enclosed toilets, heated towel rails and standing or ceiling fans. Tea and coffee making facilities, Nespresso machine and mini bar, flat screen TV with built-in DVD player, satellite television and wireless Internet access.

New Wing

New Wing Rooms are spacious rooms with a lounge area, kitchenette with kettle, toaster, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, Nespresso machineand mini bar, en-suite bathroom with separate bath and shower and heated towel rails. The living area features a plasma TV and satellite television, wireless Internet access, and air conditioning. All rooms have King/Twin sized beds and a private balcony with seating.

Harbour Square and Suites

All rooms and suites are tastefully decorated with beautiful eclectic combinations in a modern style. Rooms and Suites feature an LCD television with satellite television, personal bar, tea & coffee making facilities, Nespresso machine, wireless Internet access, air conditioning and heating. En-suite open-plan bathrooms with separate bath and shower and enclosed toilet cubicle. Drop down blinds available for privacy.

Lookout Terrace

The magnificent Lookout Terrace is arguably the best spot in Hermanus to enjoy whale watching. Guests are invited to sit and enjoy sundowners and cocktail snacks with sweeping views of Walker Bay.

The Pavilion

The beautiful Pavilion provides a relaxed, covered outdoor area that is characterised by its simplicity and adorned with local wine barrels and a traditional vintage wine press. Guests can enjoy breakfast and lunch in this afresco setting accompanied by the gentle sound of the water fountain in the background.

Celebration Table

The Celebration Table provides an intimate dining area perfect for family dinners, or small groups. Guests utilising the Celebration Table have the opportunity to enjoy pre-drinks on the lawn, or host a private braai. 

Wine Bar

The Wine Bar offers a selection of renowned beverages, from beer sourced from the Birkenhead Brewery in Stanford, to bottled craft beer and the award-winning wines so commonly associated with the lush vineyards of the Overberg region.
